Even though they didn't win, Brad and Lara are thrilled with their score this week and finally feel as though they're on the right track.

The judges think so too.

"The pieces and the styling, they are probably the best I have seen Brad and Lara do," Shaynna said upon seeing their gorgeous and generously-sized bedroom.

This week, for the first time, Brad accompanied Lara to the shops, and is understandably thrilled that the judges liked two of the things he helped pick out — the large light for the hallway, and the green side table in their bedroom.

"To me, that is a new take on a traditional chandelier. It's beautiful — like a big cloud," Neil said of their gorgeous statement light.

He was also a fan of Brad's Hawaiian-themed stool.

"Everything in here is actually very nice — I like this little bench. How did they know I had a thing for palm trees?" he joked.

Brad and Lara are starting to feel like they're hitting their stride, learning to better manage their tradies while they're out on challenges — which means they're spending less time worrying.

"Now we're like, 'Okay, we'll just be away for the day, let's just go and do it and have some fun,'" Brad says.

Their favourite thing: The light in their entrance. "It's like a big cloud! We absolutely love it," Lara says.
